GyT en Madrid: 01/01/2008

After New Year's Eve was a recreational day necessary. Regarding to the pressure of the other guests Inessa, Tom and Thomas had to meet up in a local Tapas bar. Unfortunately, high priced! Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay.

Conditional to the cold winter in Madrid Toms middle finger suffered a frostbite. But as we can see he took it with humor.

The change of the location was harder than supposed. A red christmas tree was not able to withstand 8 intoxicated students. Some of them will soon call themselfs engineers. The question is if they really will deserve this title.

Next stop to calm down was a typical Sangria bar in the heart of Madrid. The ambience remained hilarious.

Not everything is accepted, there still cultural differences between France and Germany. Therefore Thomas disapproved the sexual harassment.

Furthermore some confusion about the glasses ownership occured. It remained doubtful who had the better perspective with the glasses.

To relax the situation we changed the location another time. Joy, as often was the destination. After we arrived Aline was immediately dancing in the flashlight.

Nights in Madrid are hard. Inessa had to discover that too. Sometimes power poles are on the sidewalk and if you are too exhausted then it can happen to hit such one. A bump on Inessas head remaind as a reminder for this night.

Of course, a sightseeing tour belongs also to a stay in Madrid.

Due to a serious strike of the "Limpieza" (cleaning force, Reinigungskräfte) there was no cleaning over the christmas time in the puplic transportation facilities of Madrid. The Spaniards took this relaxed and enjoyed throwing their waste everywere.

Plaza de Chueca was the point of depature for discovering Madrids nightlife.

A small freefight in one of the most famous gay areas of Madrid. It look like a cockfight!

Let me just say Pentium III, Iron and other household appliances. The involved people know what I mean.
Next station at around 2 o'clock was mondo, a club for electronic music. Stupidly we were the first guests - normal in Madrid! Therefore we decided to go to a disco pup. After 4 o'clock we changed to the other club again and stayed till the end.
